For high-volume patch production, a 2-head or 4-head machine like the XTPro 1502 IPX or XTPro 1504 IPX multiplies output without adding operators.

Most patch designs use 4–7 colors, so a 7-needle machine (Happy HCH Plus) can handle basic patches. For complex multi-color patches or logos with up to 14–15 colors, the XTPro 1401Ci or XTPro 1501 IPX offer greater design flexibility without stopping to rethread mid-job.

A single-head machine embroiders one patch at a time, making it ideal for startups or custom orders. A 2-head (XTPro 1502 IPX) or 4-head (XTPro 1504 IPX or HCR3-1504-45) machine embroiders multiple identical patches simultaneously, dramatically increasing output while one operator manages all heads.
